Central Missouri Reentry, LLC

Central Missouri Reentry, LLC was founded by Dismas House of St. Louis to carry-on the original mission of providing successful second chances to justice-involved individuals by Father Charles Clark. Central Missouri Reentry will build upon the 65-year legacy instilled by Dismas House by creating a custom-equipped day report center to be operated by a dedicated team, who believes everyone deserves the opportunity of second chance to achieve the American dream.

Central Missouri Reentry will provide around-the-clock monitoring by leveraging the latest technology. The residential reentry facility is day reporting center to monitor clients, as well as to provide the needed support and programs to successfully reunite clients back into their home community.

Central Missouri Reentry is actively working with community leaders and neighbors to include the needs of the local area into the reentry program and facility. In addition, upon award, Central Missouri Reentry will formalize the Community Relations Board to expand community representation with an effort to solicit ongoing input regarding the reentry program that services the community.

What is a Day Reporting Center (DRC)?
  • The BOP contracts with day reporting centers (DRCs) to provide assistance to clients who are nearing release and will be confined to their home address.
  • DRCs provide a safe, structured, supervised environment, as well as employment counseling, job placement, financial management assistance, and other programs and services.
  • DRCs have an obligation to provide offenders with an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills for self-improvement, and to practice law-abiding behavior upon release.
  • DRCs are not jails or prisons. Clients are monitored and must maintain pre-arranged and approved schedules, which include working outside of their homes.
Where do your clients come from?
  • The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and U.S. Courts refer all clients to the day reporting center (DRC).
  • Clients are placed in a DRC that is closest to their release address.
What services will Central Missouri Reentry, LLC provide?
The primary objective of CMR, LLC is to properly prepare clients for their return to society where they can live productive lives as law-abiding citizens.

  • Providing employment, educational, and vocational placement assistance.
  • Provide an atmosphere which encourages and permits clients to improve family and social relationships.

How long are client’s part of the DRC program?
Participation in the DRC program varies for each client and is determined by the referring authority (BOP or U.S. Courts)
